What's the cancellation policy?

 

The Handy platform is made to be flexible, but we have some rules:

Plans with 3, 6, or 12 month commitment terms

  • Reschedule any booking for free with at least 24 hours notice.
  • However, rescheduling or skipping a booking with short notice can cause the professionals using our platform to lose valuable work. Therefore, if you make a change to a booking between 2-24 hours of the booking start you'll be charged a fee ($15 North America/ £10 UK).  If you skip or cancel within two hours, the charge of the booking won’t be refunded.
  • Upon skipping a booking, your card will be charged and that amount will be added to your Handy account as credits for you to use later at your convenience.
  • If you’d like to cancel your overall cleaning plan before the expiration of your term, you’re subject to a non-refundable cancellation fee ($150 North America, £60 UK).

Plans without commitment (select regions and certain plans created prior to 1/11/17)

  • Reschedule or skip any booking for free with at least 24 hours notice.
  • However, rescheduling or skipping a booking with short notice can cause the professionals using our platform to lose valuable work. Therefore, if you make a change to a booking between 2-24 hours of the booking start you'll be charged a fee ($15 North America/ £10 UK).  If you skip or cancel within two hours, the charge of the booking won’t be refunded.
  • Permanently cancel your cleaning plan for free, with the same notice.
